Delano Davis
Delano Davis also known as 'The Real Fat Daddy' early excursion into the hip hop arena started at a humble age of seventeen years old. When influenced by his dreams as a child to become a scientist and pro football player didn’t work out hip-hop was the next best thing.
As Fat Daddy continued to face many obstacles such as street violence, and poverty the death of three close friends, his near death accident in 2013 he now channeled his energy into writing in order to remain positive within his community of Winston Salem, North Carolina. In 2011 he create AIMM, Inc a non-profit organization, which stands for 'Ambition Is My Motivation' to help feed the homeless, distribute toys, food, clothes and more importantly raise resources and awareness for the needs in his community’s i.e safer playgrounds, better facilities in schools, and cleaner streets.
After dropping his first CD in 2008 and producing 34 videos he is currently working on a new album and plans on continuing his outreach work with AIMM and encouraging kids to keep off the streets and work to fulfill their dreams. Fat Daddy is nominated for best mix tape of the year, best unsigned artist and best single in South Carolina.
