Australian singer songwriter Darren Cinque set off from his home town of Melbourne Australia to discover the other side of the world - wounding up in Milan Italy.
What he didn\'t know at the time was that it was to become his new home where later he would have also met producer Giovanni Prolo.
Together they began working on the numerous songs Darren was writing at the time - many of which were about his personal experiences in love, emotions and life.
The first single, ‘FIGHT FOR THE YOUNG’ from Darren Cinque’s upcoming album rumored to be titled ‘Black Moments’, is a call to action to raise awareness of the horrors many children around the world face each day such as war, abuse, labor conditions.
While the song itself contains a catchy, modern melody and beat typical of singer/songwriter Darren Cinque, the lyrics contain an emotional plea and there is a heartfelt message behind the music.
‘\'Fight for the Young\' addresses issues close to my heart - and since becoming a father my feelings are even stronger. No child should be cold, hungry, frightened or hurt - every child deserves a childhood,’ Darren said.
‘In this day and age, it is not only a tragedy but an outrage that children are subjected to such terrible circumstances. They cannot defend themselves and it is everyone\'s responsibility to take notice, stand up and fight for the young’.
When completed, the album \'Black Moments\' will take the listener on a relatable and poignant journey of broken hearts, crushed dreams and other tragedies that occur in daily life all around the world, but also hope for a brighter future.
