Sweet Scarlet Biography
Cornelius Hermansen, lead singer and lead guitar
Preben Lorentzen, backing vocals and keys
Jonas Aasnes, drums

Sweet Scarlet is a Norway based trio operating in the prog rock/alternative rock genre. Permanent members are Cornelius Hermansen(lead vocals/leadguitar), Preben Lorentzen(keys and backing vocal) and Jonas Aasnes(drums). Despite their young age, the Norwegian boys have an enormous amount of experience in the field, playing big festivals with headliners such as Ozzy Osbourne, Snoop Dogg and Elton John. The band is currently focusing their time on playing live gigs, but will release their first EP in the near future. This will hopefully happen by the end of 2014.

Sweet Scarlet’s current audience shows great range, and people from all ages are represented in their fan base. This is due to the bands musical diversity and dynamics, caused by their wide range of influences. All three of the permanent members come from very different backgrounds, and everything from modern popular music to metal has been explored.
