Interlunar is a Pop Rock band which founded by Venezuelan producers Sergio Rondon and Rafael Munoz which started in Madrid. The duo, being influenced by a wide range of genres, was able to fuse vintage and modern music to develop their own sound.
Sergio Rondon resides between Madrid and Caracas. He is a producer who started at the age of 17, performing live in Caracas with various bands. Rondon has performed in Venezuela, Bonaire, and Spain; offering live sets of electronic music, scratch and live remixes. Sergio Rondon always shapes the originality and forefront.
!Rafa Munoz started with Venezuelan rock in the 90s at the age of 14. Now, he lives between Miami and Madrid and has participated in the production of a few promising groups (in Spain and The United States). Munoz has composed jingles for radio and television, music for short films, and written songs for various artists. His first EP entitled “Genetic Agony” was produced in Retroestudio Madrid and edited in Abbey Road studios located in London.
In September 2013 Interlunar will make its first digital launch consisting of three singles ('Like This', 'Far From Here' and 'Panic Attack'). It is being promoted on social networks and on different radio stations in Venezuela and Spain.
Currently, Interlunar is preparing for a tour in 2014 which will take place in different cities of Venezuela, Spain, and The United States. Rafa Munoz (rhythm guitar and vocals) and Sergio Rondon (Drums) will be joined by Oswaldo Pena (Panacea, TST) on the lead guitar and Alejandro Meneses (Nehbrid) on the bass guitar.
Interlunar is music for the soul. This band has the nostalgia of vintage music but maintains the forefront of contemporary and modern sound. |
