Masterlinx has been influenced by music from an early age. In primary school; he got involved in drama and music performances, and loved being an emcee and a deejay at the school disco. During his life at primary school he also learned to play the piano, drums, flute and program beats, and rhythms on a basic Yamaha drum sequencer.
From there on Masterlinx known as tiny back, realized his musical ability to produce many rhythms. He learnt more about studio recording and engineering, and began remixing tracks and making dubplates for artist and friends.
Masterlinx has always loved Hiphop and Dancehall music among other genres. He would often listen toNwa Big Daddy Kane, Shabba Ranks, Papa San and many others. Besides being an emcee in the drum and bass genre during his early days, with mc fox , mc gq, skibbadee mc funsta and dj ruffstuff, he is also a producer of all genres of music, including DnB, House, R&B, Rock and Pop.
Over and above having been a singer, rapper, songwriter, producer and FM deejay, and working on music for film, theatre and documentaries, Masterlinx has also attained a Master’s Degree in Electronics andEngineering as well as Music Technology and Sound Engineering. His production keywords are: ’No Sampling!’ Masterlinx keeps his music authentic and original, by not following the sampling trends, so frequently practiced nowadays. It’s a working code he swears to live by!
Masterlinx’s catalog of musical works is a must! The production is world class; lyrics are precision bombs, beats are on fire, this is modern dance music, regardless of genre, at its highest caliber. Masterlinx’scontinues to show, with every track he puts out, that his craft matures and resonates to all listeners across the globe.

Don’t be fooled by the fact that Masterlinx is UK based, which is often regarded as ‘a bridge too far’ for most USA Rap and Hiphop aficionados. Masterlinx’s music is universal. He just throws it all out there and leaves nothing untouched. Definitely not something to sleep on!
