FROM JOHN DAVID:
I started writing and recording my own music when I was around 16 and taught myself to use the guitar & editing programs like Fruity Loops, Cool Edit Pro (now known as Adobe Audition) and Sound Forge. But, as advanced as the software was, I normally used sub-standard equipment to record my music and have thus far amassed a small catalog of poorly recorded songs- which I hope will change as I go forward with my Kickstarter project.
