Rock Garden is Rock/Powerpop with retro roots and fresh vibes, bridging the best of the rock stylings through the decades and generations. Their music has been called soulful, pumping, fun and irreverent - and that's just the way they like it.
With lyrics that range from deeply introspective and poetic to saucy and suggestive; with intricate, guitar-driven melodies and powerful, melodic vocals, jazz-influenced drums with tight rolls and fills; their style is, according to their drummer, 'hard to pigeonhole because we have yet to find such an eclectic pigeon. This is rock at its most diverse: classic rock roots with big nods to jazz, folk and straight up blues.'
Rock Garden's influences are undoubtedly retro but are also fresh, relevant, edgy and daring, thanks to their intense zest for life, passion for the human condition and global concerns, not to mention the musical diversity represented by the varied ages and styles of the band's members. Rock Garden's combined life experience and soul, boundless energy, classic rock sensibilities and modern flair blend in happy - and hot - harmony.
